The stunning Jet Black Metallic Les Paul Muse from the Inspired by Gibson Collection features a lightweight chambered Les Paul body powered by high output Alnico Classic PRO humbuckers with a coil-splitting and phase controls plus a treble bleed circuit to maintain clarity at lower volumes.

A Les Paul with A Light Touch
The striking Les Paul Muse Collection offers both new and veteran guitarists a lightweight chambered Les Paul body that's easier to hold thanks to the contoured "belly scarf" and thin rim. The Muse Les Pauls are made from rich Okoume tonewood with a Maple cap and single-ply white binding. The hand-set Okoume neck has a Custom "C" profile with an Indian Laurel fingerboard with pearloid trapezoid inlays, a 24.75" scale, medium jumbo frets, and a narrow Graphtech 1.63" nut.

Alnico Classic PRO Humbuckers
The Les Paul Muse Collection is powered by Epiphone Alnico Classic PRO humbuckers which feature Alnico-V magnets for a higher output than traditional humbuckers like the ProBucker. Alnico Classic PROs also feature 18% Nickel Silver unit bases and covers, the same alloy used by Gibson at the Kalamazoo factory when the humbucker was first invented. The use of Nickel Silver reduces the occurrence of eddy currents due to low conductivity and provides a more transparent and crisp output. Controls include a standard 3-way toggle switch and standard Les Paul volume and tone for each pickup with clear speed knobs with white numbers. Both pickups also offer a push-pull split-coil feature activated at each volume control to turn the humbucker into a single-coil pickup for even more tonal options as well as a in/out phase switch on the neck's tone control. The volume pots also now feature a standard treble bleed circuit to maintain clarity at lower volume.

Like all great Les Pauls, the Muse Collection features rock solid hardware including Grover Rotomatic machine heads with an 18:1 tuning ratio and Epiphone's standard LockTone bridge and Stopbar tailpiece. An optional hard case or EpiLite case is available.
